Most people, fortunately for them, have never heard of a
“retina” doctor. Many never need any eyecare at all until perhaps late in life.
Others may need glasses or contact lenses to focus properly and see their best.
Many also have common general ophthalmology problems, like
cataracts, glaucoma, etc…
In retina, we deal with problems having to do with many
aspects of the eye and visual system. These include :
Retinal Detachments and retinal tears/holes
Epimacular Proliferation (EMP)/Macular Pucker/ Wrinkling of
Retinal vein Occlusion
Retinal Artery Occlusion
Eye trauma / Eye injuries
Complications of other surgeries
Infection inside the eye (Endophthalmitis)
Most of our patients are referred to us by an Optometrist or
General Ophthalmologist, but many patients come to us on their own. This is
perfectly fine – especially if they already have known retinal problems. We’re
happy to see any patient to evaluate for retinal problems.
A standard of excellence in personalized care enables us to provide the quality eye care services that our patients deserve. We provide comprehensive treatment planning and follow strict standards that ensure your treatment or surgery will go smoothly and provide you with the results you desire.
